"Superfoods" are foods that are dense in nutrition. So instead of fearing a detox or a clean-up protocol as a "diet" in which you have to eliminate foods, focus on all of the wonderful foods you should incorporate. As you give your body what it needs, you'll find your cravings for "CRAP" foods will minimize or dissipate altogether. Here are some "superfoods" that I make sure are stocked in my kitchen. Most of these can go into any smoothie I make throughout the day.
Lentils (soaked and sprouted)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Butter from pasture-rasied animals
Work on a getting a variety!
Fruit (fresh, frozen, dried)
Fresh black pepper
Pink Himalayan or Celtic Sea Salt
Raw Cacao (dark unsweetened chocolate)
Seeds and Nuts
(Raw is best. Nuts should be soaked and dehydrated.
Read ingredient list to avoid preservatives and added salt.)
Brazil (just have a couple a day ... literally 2 or 3 provides enough selenium)
Flours and Grains
